Magincia was destroyed by its own Pride, apparently, in accordance with Ultima canon. There's talk of rebuilding it as a city of Humility. I hope that is accompanied by a Herding expansion, because it's about damn time.

Old Haven as it is now known was destroyed by Batman AKA The Dark Knight, or some such crap, for being TOO humble, or some such crap. Or maybe Batman is trying to save it. Who knows?

Anyway it's populated with undead who just mind their own business and don't attack anyone and therefore MUST BE DESTROYED. The Young are fed this typical paladin LIE that undead are somehow suffering and must be released from their torment by killing them.. which makes no sense as dying was pretty much the problem in the first place, not that it's really a problem for most of us undead.

New Haven can be accessed via the Trammel facet on the moongates.

Ahh yes part of the Political war. I guess people have to go somewhere OTHER than Magnicia to open locks.. I kind of wish i could have stored all my runebooks and lockpicking chests before i left. luckily i already have a GM lockpicker...t hough remarking all the treasure maps is a pain.

ANYWAY Ha Zarrrrrrr to the idiotic king who likes to kill his own people. Yay for the Lich lords for bringing them back lol.

Apparently as a result of the massive eruption a tiny, perfectly mitered doorway to the Underworld formed out of the falling debris. Magic! Also despite a caldera of that size forming above ground, the entire underground network of caverns was not consumed by seismic activity or flowing magma. Also magic.
