Decorative Carpet Pieces No Longer Dyeable?

I've tried the regular dye tub, special dye tub and the metallic cloth dye tub and get the message 'You cannot dye that'. This is a recent change. Is this intended or an Oppsie?

I just tried dying the decorative carpet tiles, both an old already dyed tile and a new tile that I just purchased. No problem dying the with any of the cloth dye tubs. Do you have the tiles in your backpack?

Yes, I had some one else try also. They had no luck either.

Before I posted this I decided to check to see if the tubs would dye a piece of clothing. Ayup. So I pulled out the carpet pieces and tried again. Ayup, success.

This is a perfect example of the exciting life I lead.
