This is my favorite part of the newsletter, or for that matter, from any newsletter written so far:

"Something new we will be adding to the Newsletter is the number of accounts that were banned as a result of TOS violations. We understand how frustrating it can be when everyone isn't on the same playing field. With this new information available in the newsletter we want to show you the actions we are taking to keep that field as fair as possible."

Thank you so much for doing that, it is truly appreciated and will go a long way towards soothing people's anger about cheating. The new login screen is pretty cool too.

I don't understand why they won't tolerate cheating at all on the free accounts but won't ban a paid account for breaking the same rules...

So we know know what shard Mesanna is linked too.....we ask for Cinnamon rolls for like 10 years and keep getting told NO.
"Somebody" asks on Drach for Choc chip cookies to be added and she's like "i'll get straight on it"......memorial stones...yup i'll get on that for you too....oh a new Champ spawn, sure i can do that. Heck i'll even put these in the newletter so it looks like we were thinking about them for much longer than a couple days......

And where is the Cinnamon roll?? ......nowhere

Everything else asked at most of the M&G this year.....ohhh sorry but were to busy getting this F2P that probably not gonna benefit anyone except the scripters and hell we don't even have anybody to police it anyway...
And lets not forget about the simplist switch they can make.......RESTORE THE PHOENIX ART because this new art is a failure as you can clearly see by nobody using the "new" Phoenix after asking for it as a pet for 10 years!!!

So if your paying for your accounts its OK to cheat!! But if your playing for free its NOT!!! Can it get any more hypocritical then that??!! I don't even see how this going to be feasible since they cant even monitor the current playerbase, if there is an influx of 5k or more new players who's gonna have the time to watch them. LOLOLOL

I like the concept but if all they are banning for TOS are trial accts the numbers don't mean much. On the other hand if they are banning even paid accts for TOS violations then it would mean something.


My favorite is the Orc Champion and it needs to be put in the Orc Mine one of the best dungeons in the game from a RP perspective and a good mid level character training dungeon......... And a dungeon that seems to be long forgotten by most.

I agree..everytime I hear it I am filled with longing for the old days of UO and the friends that have since moved on...

I am usually one of three places in the game Solen Hive, Wind, or The Orc Mine. And yep if a less skilled player sticks to level one through 60s-80s weapon/tact skills and then goes down to level 3 with the Brute training goes fast. Particularly if you are training mining up on the character as well 25 shodow ore per brute adds bup fast. Trick there like the solen hive is don't kill the little orcs and the Brute insta respawns. Just lead all of the little orcs down the hall to the entrance to level 2, leaving the brute alone in the center. Go back to level 2 and recall back to the center, only takes a few min to set it up and otherwise stand there with yer thumb up yer nose waiting for the brute to respawn. They do hit hard so some parry, bushi and chiv are real handy and a repond weapon. Not the best to train archers or mage types on as they toss little orcs at ranged and mage attacks. It is also my favorite place to mine saltpeter, sadly the only people if they can be called people are scrpt bots wearing orc mask and recalling around the mine tram side. Their scripts must miss the niter deposits they pop but ever 5-10 minutes I make a run around when the bots are mining and usually find 3-10 deposits on their recall spots. Atlantic was the worst for bots in the mine, saw 9 different ones or who knows maybe all the same one, recalling to and mining to the point it was useless for me to try and mine ore. But did bring in 60k+ saltpeter from niter deposits they popped over a day.

Champ would be best in the L3 cavern with the waterfall or in the L3 Earth El cavern Would hate to see the central room messed up as a training place on the brutes but could live with it to have a Champ spawn in the Orc Mine. Heck might even get me PvPing again wearing a Orc Mask and helping the Orcs defend the champion
The champ could be the Avatar of the BIG BLUD GOD. And whilst they are at it.......... they could make Orcs a playable race and make one the benefits that Orc Players are not attacked by orcs unless they attack orcs and then take 4x more damage from orcs. LOL attack a brute as a player orc and it is a 1 hit kill on you when he hits you. That would be a good simple balance and keep the race from being exploited within the orc camps, forts and the mine. In the meantime I will just keep pretending to be a orc, wearing a mask and RPing a Fake Orc

I wondered about that too, it seems like all their efforts are going into EJ at the moment, let's hope they think it through properly and don't rush it!

In preparation for Endless Journey I want to be very clear with regard to TOS violoations.

How can one take Mesanna seriously?

Time will tell what they do with multiboxers and the like. Not getting hyped over an virtual ban counter they can basically make out of thin air. I will wait for what I see on the streets and in the woods, then make a conclusion.
