I just opened Decadence's Lantern museum, although it still needs a lot of work, and some lanterns are still on other shards waiting to come home. ON ATLANTIC
I have also started a little game called Deca's Lucky Lock Lotto! I have an awesome "Magic Cudgel" prize up at the moment, and plan to put up multiple games on different floors with different prizes. How to play: Basically Buy keys on any of the 5 npcs surrounding the table,try them on the box, if you have the key that will unlock and lock the box you win. The key can be on any of the 5 NPCS. The game goes on until either all keys or sold, or the prize is claimed. Please check upper floors often as I will eventually put in more games with more prizes. Yes thieves can open the lockbox, that is why you MUST TURN IN THE CORRECT KEY to me, and only me, Decadence [=$=] <---- note guild abbrev, and I carry a unique " I kill because I care" necro book. You are responsible for the key, if it is lost, stolen, or copied on you, that is your loss. I am assuming it is possible for multiple keys to have the same code and open the box, but highly unlikely. In this event, it is the chance of the game. Before buying keys, please check that the magic lockbox and prize is still there, I will remove these items if the prize is claimed.
Also the museum may be locked especially at night near server down time. I will lock it before I go to bed, and reopen at my discretion. I apologize for this inconvenience but it keeps cheaters out.
Also I do not know where the key is, and didn't know when I filled the vendors, so don't look to me for influence on which vendor to pick, where to look, patterns etc. I mixed the winning key into the mix and put them randomly on the vendors. I did retain a copy of the key in order to relock the box should any thieves lockpick it. It may take up to 48 hours for me to respond when you contact me for your prize. Please be patient, I have a life, and can not watch the game 24-7. Please icq me if you win, call in game for me (this may take longer) as people in game to contact me, place a note in my mailbox outside the museum with directions on how to contact you for your prize.
If you win, you will be announced, winners are not anonymous. If any of my friends win the prize, once again I do not know where the winning key is, everyone has a fair chance, my friends may win due to hanging out with me in my house, and buying more keys out of boredom. It would be purely chance.
I hope to put in bigger and better prizes and also lower prizes for cheaper key prices, all this will take time, please be patient.
THERE IS A GUARANTEED WINNER FOR EACH GAME RUN, The winning key IS on one of the 5 vendors...If by chance someone doesn't claim their prize in 2 weeks after all keys are sold, for some strange reason, like insanity, loss of key etc, then the prize might be put up again.
