Dear Hoarding Thieves,

I would appreciate it very much if you would STOP hoarding stealables that are rather easy to get (I'm talking like, level 6 here). The rest of the community (on Pacific) have been trying to get these items for house deco since SA came out, and yet it seems like NONE of them are ever for sale.
Seriously, this is getting annoying.
Just how many pairs of rotted oars and Gargish traditional vases do you have? 100+? Is that even necessary? Every other shard seems to have these for cheap, and yet you can't even find them on Pac. Even announcing it in Global chat gets those of us buying no where. And if a thief does speak up, they want 2 mil+ for something that is artifact rarity 6 even though they are so easy to get.
I'm so sick of in game hoarding!

So, forum, do you have similar issues? What is something you've been looking for that is impossible to find that shouldn't be?

LA was the same way when stealables first came out. In fact the same old tired thieves can still be seen gobbling up anything and everything they find. Ain't that right Rambo?

You should make A crate and get some. You can build a 120 thief from 50 real with items.

Global chat is a joke, most adult players avoid the high drama areas.

Last but not least the higher end items get scripted and x-sharded no surprise there.

Within a month of making a pvm crate I had doubles of nearly all the items your complaining about, yes on pacific.

I suggest a different approach, try trading some of those prime evil drops your hording. you prolly get what you need a lot faster than venting here.

I think you have me confused with someone else... I'm not hoarding any Prinevil drops...
Most of my rare goodies are deco pieces. If they don't fit, I usually sell whatever.
I have a thief. However, myself and other friends have tried finding the timers for items. I've even stood and waited, seen the item spawn and it was instantly gone.
There's no reason they can't even sell one on their home shard. It's just annoying.

...Then Another suggestion, waiting is not the approach I took. I would start cleaning some mini spawns at set times near where said Item spawn.
It took longer than I wanted but eventually I got the item I was out to get and moved on to the next.

Another suggestion start a routine, something like you would do for An idoc search, take notes and vary the routine as needed until you get the item.

Start with Narvey webs, then work a path to all locations on that level and move to the abyss areas and so forth.

My routine took roughly 20 min to run for the new items. Change your times up, if you only play on Prime times you may never see a arti.

For the first few weeks I ran the same routine, when I woke up, when I came home for lunch and before bed. Within a month I had double and even triples of most all the items you mentioned.

That was just and hour a day investment.

I know how you feel.

The oars particularly were my bane. I had never seen them, even once. I did find a pair on a vender, but I do not buy stealable deco, and even if i did, I could not even come close to affording the asking price.

But as suggested up there, I kept making stealable runs at different times throughout the day. Finally, one day back in April, I found the oars and was able to steal them.

I have never seen them since, and the pair I did have i gace away to a guildie (They deco much better than I do, and I am always trying to clean house to free up storage).

I suggest just keep making stealing runs throughout the day, and you will eventually get what you are seeking. NOTE: Especially right after new events start. Seems to me that when new events start, the regular thieves sometimes forget or get a bit lazy. Hell, I made my thief during the last ToK event, and my 1st doom run, the 1st arty I ever stole was the Titan's hammer. Gave that one away too. I just like the stealing part .

Wait a minute... if you are keeping these stealables yourself to decorate your house, isn't that hoarding?

I sell mine on a vendor, and some never sell. My highest priced LVL 6 is 50K. What do you think is a fair price? I usually keep one item and then sell any others that I steal. So it just might take a while before you would see a particular item on my vendor. The oars I didn't keep - rather ugly in my opinion unless you have a sea side hut theme.

They are not cornered on LS at least. I see at least 3 of us almost daily making the runs. I've got all the old and new ones up through the LVL 8 rotten oars, all the old LVL 9's. So, whichever guild you are referring to, they aren't doing a very good job.

I meant the old weekly/bi-weekly/monthly/tri-monthly rare spawns from back in the day, like skull candles, marble tables, trays things of that nature

Actually the oars spawn every 7-8 days and the vases, if level 6 every 36-48h.

Well, the 28 days was a typo because I meant 8, and I dunno why I thought gargish vases took 8 days. It was 4 am and I was working on paperwork. =[
I do have a thief, but I don't play him often, the same as my other griends with thieves. Way to be rude, though! You advice was really no different than what I'd already tried. I was just saying, these hould be made available rather than having thieves just hoard them to control their outrageous price on them.

You know what......I pay the same as you to play this game. If you can't achieve getting the stealables, then it's your own fault. I have done it, and the one's I haven't gotten yet, I'm not focusing hard enough on it.

I'm sure as hell not blaming other thieves, there's only how many of them?? Quite a few, I say tone your skills and your dedication and stop blaming others for your short comings.

Obviously you guys aren't getting the facts that
A.) I don't play my thief often because I don't enjoy it. It's just not my niche in the game as I prefer fighting and deco and IDOCing. Just what I like to do. This game is not a job and I don't spend a whole lot of time playing. I don't think it should be this hard to find uncommon deco on a vendor.
B.) I'm saying that it's a problem that thieves practically have these things on timers and they're keeping 100 of them locked in a crate to control the market it on.
Kind of like the bamboo stool issue imo.

I found an idoc once where there was nothing but low level stealables stacked away in chests, i mean like 100-150 of each stealable. I was like wth would you wanna keep all these for lol!
