Dealing with Dismount

Hi

What ways do people deal with dismount (assuming you don't have the ability to transform into a mounted-speed animal with Ninjitsu)?

Are invisibility potions a good option (and then re-mounting, assuming you are not revealed)?

If you have parry or bushido/parry and high DCI, you might be able to run and parry enough to survive long enough to be able to remount. Invis pots would work, but most likely someone will throw a conflag pot, cast an area spell, or use an area effect weapon to reveal your location, so hopefully you can time the invis right and remount before they can reveal you.

I guess the ideal is to run a template with ninja and just off-screen as an Ostard or something.

Do invis' pots have a timer for re-use?

The best way to survive dismounts are to have good crosshealers!

Ninja really is the best way to survive dismounts solo, animal form, mirror images, etc.

Aside from that, invis jewelry, teleport rings, bushido/parry evade and try ethy.

Invis pots are interuptable. The best way (other than Animal Form) is to use a live mount.
