De-activating an account

How does one go about doing that? Now that I can play for free I don't need to pay a monthly fee. So how do I actually deactivate my account. I'm really confused by the ea.com whole system!

Log on to your account at EA.com. Under the Billing Info tab, there should be an option to remove your billing info. Once your billing info is removed, you will no longer be charged your subscription fee. You can also simply cancel your subscription under the Subscription Info tab.

Just remember that you can only do all things free in TC3. In EA Land you can't go to skill or money lots.

Do you have to pay on the day they do it?

Thought paid a month between somewhere and April 30th qualifies you ..

Anyone know exactly?

Amnesty concerns anniversary gifts and skill locks. It works for all account types.

I also remember reading that if your account is free, you only get one of each as opposed to receiving three of each on a paid account.

The part about paying for a certain time period was referring to being an EALand founder...I believe. If I'm wrong, someone will come along and correct me.
