I think this is a good trade off in most cases for a PvM archer or thrower. You must be capped for HCI on a ranged char for damage effectiveness. The range and your mobility matter to keep you free from damage. Do think of your primary foes and ask whether you can keep a reasonable distance during the battle. Don't forget about side spawn as bunch of critters getting in your face even while you keep a safe distance to the boss can be deadly too.
