DCI and suit building

What are my options to get close to the 75 DCI cap?

Atm I get 10 from night eyes, 15 from my weapon, & 5 from my quiver. So all together I am at 30 DCI. The only two options I see left are really AoF or Fey leggings, which I am trying not to use because they really make a dent in my suit planning with their poor resists. :/

Even if I use AoF or Fey Leggings, it only pulls my DCI up to 45-50. The only way I can get anywhere close to the cap then is to equip a shield which I am trying not to do as I want to have one hand free.

Am I missing any major piece of armor that will help me here? Is there another route besides AoF or Fey Legs?

How about a DCI totem? Is there one?

I think the DCI cap is 45%.

Not brand new, this classic shard talk has sparked my interest in UO again and I figure I'd give it a shot again. Though, I have ABSOLUTELY no clue what's going on in game now.

Slither has 10dci?

Lets see, faction items make it even more easy to get the dci.

Faction folded steel glasses =25dci
Normal folded steel glasses = 15dci
Jewels = 15dci each for a total of 30dci
Chest piece (aof or heart of the lion) = 15dci
Tangle (belt slot) 5dci
sash slot = 5dci
Slither (Talisman slot) = 10dci
Robe = 5dci
Cloak slot = 5dci
Leg slot = 20dci

Did I leave anything out?

I thought hld drops your defense by 25% not 30%. You should only need 70 dci. I build a LOT of pvp faction suits and never go above 70 dci.

Conjurer's garb also gives 5% DCI. There is also one of those cloaks from turning in the threads that gives 3 HCI and 3 DCI.
