Whilst out walking in Gilfane earlier, I was accosted by an evil highwayman known as Sam Axe. It seems he is a follower of the evil Minax cause. He demanded that I give him all my gold, of which I had none. Fortunately, I mollified him by handing over my arrows and bandages and my life was spared.

All Gilfane residents, and all other good folk of Siege, should be on their guard.

I actually have a problem with this. I think we should get rid of Gilfane as it takes away from my pvp experience at champ spawns and Luna. I want to kill this guy, but that means I have to participate in traveling to Gilfane and RPing with you guys. Soooo we should probably talk to the devs about deleting all player run towns that are out of the way.

Haha. You are nothing if not totally predicatable. I was waiting for some sarcastic comment or other in this thread.

I don't know why I keep bothering to explain that I am just as interested in helping you guys out and bringing PvP back as I am anything else. I just don't have the blinkered vision that you all do. *shrugs*

Not only was I murdered by the vile Elmer Fudd, but a few days after that,
I was 'assimulated' out there, by a neighboring Gilfanish, Borg resident.

Then just a couple few days ago, a sneaky murdering thieving sort tried to exterminate a long absentee MYTH member whom was in me yard in Gilfane tryin to see where I had moved to out there. Unfortunately for the vile one, the late Aeric Horn did not guild title her, MYTH MAULER for nothin. lol

Once upon a time on this shard there was an even more remote player run town called Wintermoor. It was not simply found off the LUNA bridge either, no folks had to really travel far out of the way, to get to Wintermoor.

It never seemed to stop a horde of vampires from patrolin enmasse, coming in shouting in ROLEPLAYIN, in the sort of VMP no roleplayin sort of way ...
DIE INSOLENT BLUES as they come in there to fight the knights or any of the Knights'... False reds as one VMP used to call em.

Aye it was !

Point is a flockin horde of murdering vampires, always seemed to be able to get to any very remote areas such as Wintermoor long ago, on regular basis patroling all over the shard, gating and on mounts traveling long ways merely riding, just to find/try to find their *victims*, and this was before the era of UO 12th vet rewards, now making it quite easy, to get to ANY player run towns anywheres on shards, nowadays.

Gilfane is far less remote than Wintermoor ever was.
