Do they Still Spawn on Wild Golems and where are the best place to collect them? Ilsh or Tram?

Ilsh is better to collect them as the rare ones only spawn from paragon golems which only spawn in Ilsh.

In relation to the rare ones, can they also be gotten of Paragon Betrayers or Junggernunts?? And in relation to killing Paragons, approx how many do I need to kill to get a rare?

Well, since it's all random, you could go out there and get one off the first you killed or not until the 300th. But for me, it took my girl and I about 5 days of hunting at about 4 or 5 hours a day before she finally got one. I'd estimate we killed over 50 paragon golems and easily over 200 regular ones to get it.

Got another rare one tonight... naturally it was the one I already had. Probably another 10 or so paragons since the first rare one.

That is one of the ones I'm looking for as well... I'm slowly inching my way towards a complete one. Pending a trade with another collector, I'll only need a 2 or 3 more commons, most of the uncommons, but only two of the rares. I really lucked out in finding the rare Wanderer gear that was only available for the Book of Truth event on a vendor... It was the only one I was sure I'd never find.

I had the first complete box on Lake Austin (prior to the wanderer gear, and that was the first BoT reward I took).

I got one rare in november 2005, then the other two in one night in December or January (myself and 2 others fought 10 paras that night, and got 3 rares - one I got solo before the others joined me, then after we got a dupe of it and the last I needed, and we agreed for me to get that rare, one of the others to get the duplicate, and the last person got all the commons and uncommons for the night).

In the 2 years since, I have killed hundreds, if not close to a thousand, paragon golems - and gotten NO more rares. I'm starting to believe my box for my second house will never be finished. I've filled Two more boxes with commons & uncommons since, helped guildmates fill at least another 4 boxes with the C & U gear, and sold approximately 1500-2000 common gears and nearly 100 uncommons at auction or through my gear vendor in Luna.

Someone got a real-life Remove Curse they can cast on me?

Can anyone tell me of value of rar gears??

does it depend on which gear it is and does putting it in a box devalue the price of a rare gear??

Also which is the rarest gear to own?? i ask because i have 4 gears from an event (i forget the event name) but gears are called "the wanderer" and i was guessing as these (to my knowledge) only spawned at the time of the event are the rarest one?? anyhow a price check on the wanderer gears would be apprieciated and also will their value rise??

Im trying to remember what i paid for the wanderer - i think it was 1m - might have been 1.5m. I've never had an extra rare to sell, lol, so dont know how much I'd charge. I sell uncommons at around 800k.

Well, the Wanderer gears were only available during that Book of Truth event, so they would probably be considered the rarest. As far as the value, I couldn't even begin to guess... and whether they increase in value over time will depend on whether or not EA decides to offer these gears again in a different method. They did that with several recent "one time only" deals like the Shrouds of Shadow, certain Virtue armor pieces, etc.

Also, I would think the gears only hold their value as long as they are not installed in a music box because once they are put in, you can't take them back out. As a collector's item, I wouldn't want to start all over again because the last one I needed was stuck in someone else's box.

I still have grizzle dungeon if thats one of the uncommons you need. I'm looking for Ultima VII Serpent Isle Combat and Valoria Ships (U9) - or left side of rubble boat.

Just found 2 more uncommons - paws (u9) and Minoc (negative) (u9) if anyone is looking for those, as well as the grizzled dungeon

Was keeping count of the Paragon Golems I killed to figure a ratio for how often the rare music gear would spawn but when my count surpassed 200 and I still didnt have a gear I stopped counting as it was too depressing.

Have gotten all the commons and uncommons to fill 2 music boxs and have been slowly filling another 3 music boxes but to this day still only have the wanderer gear from Truth books.

Thank you for the information on Gear drops. I have been trying to figure this out for months. I have been kiling Golems on the upper floors of the main castle for two days now and just got my first rare gear "Selim's Bar (Strike Commander)". It sort of sucks when you kill a paragon and get a common gear at the very least it could have been uncommon ;-)

i got the wanderer in the box im filling and sorry to all you selling gears this is going to be a box i fill myself lol - may take a while but hey ho i am up for (it seems like) having to kill a million and 1 gollems:)

price checks were appriciated - just as a side note - what is the worth of a box with the full set of gears in? also is there anywhere or could some one enlighten me as to how many of each type of gears there are? i guess it in strats somewhere but me and this search engine is like mixing water with electric!! just not a good idea :p

lol I just have to laugh, I am sittin at Brit Bank on GL and this guy is spammin an 18x18 for sale that he has had for ever and just logs back in to sell. Well I pop thru the gate cause any Tram house for 18 mill must be good, they don't even have all the loot cleared from the IDOC yet so I checkle to myself and being an IDOC rat anyway I start going thru the boxes and what do I find...



What dumb luck! Just the gear mind you the rest of the stuff was from other IDOCs that I actually worked.

Well hot damn. Mighty nice find there! I'm always the last to clear out of an IDOC since I don't trust others to root through and get all the good stuff. I've lost count of all the good items I've found underneath the chests and miscellaneous deco that has fallen to the ground. Last time, I found a pouch under a regular plant that had 20 1 million gold checks, some blessed clothing, 3 or 4 CBDs, a few partially used tokuno dyes and some various high level artifacts (AoF, HoM, Orny, etc) in it... All someone would have had to do is move that ugly yellow fern
. Anyhow, congrats on the find. If you're not one of the collectors, hold onto that a bit and it will likely go up in value.

I had two Musci boxes that were 40/9 and nonenow I have one that is 40/9/and 1!! already loaded that puppy!
