Daisho+Radiant Scimitar vs Leafblade+Kama?

Well, Radiant Scimitar looks much better than Kama. Is the difference between AI and DS is greate enough to compensate this disadvantage?

If I use CW I always hit the lowest resist. If it's less than 50% then DS does more damage and vise versa. But some Bosses have 65+ in the lowest resist. And few of the have 80+.

So swordsmanship or fencing?

If you absolutely need to use feint, then fencing is the way to go. If you don't or whirlwind is more important then both swords and mace have viable options. I like my war axe and black staff combo for my mace fighter and my bladed staff and radiant scimitar (or double axe) for my swords combo. IMO, the Daisho doesn't do enough damage to make it a preferred weapon.

I want a char that doesn't die in any situation . So feint is must have.

Have you tried a war axe with blood drinker?

Well feint is a nice to have. I for myself used fencing for a long time. But after the publish fencing weapons just dont do enough damage anymore esp.

On the other side weapons like broad and longswords were boosted. So dmg is much higher and so is the amount you get life leeched, which improves survivability as well

and what about leafblade + lajatang? lajatang have Frenzied Whirlwind, and with the change in publish 81 in that special move, i think it can be a nice option. What do you think?


Frenzied Whirlwind, now deals scaled damage based on Ninjitsu/Bushido skill levels within a two tile radius over 2 seconds. Applies a movement slow to its initial target if it is player. The initial delay of damage over time has been removed.

That's an interesting idea...mainly because I've never seen someone with a lajatang equipped. I may imbue one up and give it a shot. My biggest fear is that I'll hit the defense mastery special on accident too many times.
