After trying to get some answers on the Thiefs, T hunter and Rares forum and getting the boot (no offense
) in all 3 of them i am trying my luck here.

Couple Questions on the stealable Rares


What does still spawn right now?

Is it diffrent on Different Shards? If so i need the info for ATL shard

Where does the meat pie pop?

Does the water bucket still pop (i dont remember it spawning anymore) and where did it pop (was Hedge Maze Right? )?

What else used to be a Daily Rare and stopped spawning? And where did it spawn?

Well I havent did rares for a long time, but most of the daily rares still occur if you are looking to get some. baskets, closed barrels, fruit basket, etc. You can still get the semi rares from their locations.

Water buckets stopped spawning many years ago, so you can't get those anymore. Yes they were in the hedgemaze, in the animal pen beside the main building. You used to be able to get them because the "full bucket" and "empty bucket" were treated as different static objects, so if you filled a empty bucket with water and removed it, it "unlocked" due to a glitch i guess.

Usually a rares site will show you all the items, like Honeyrares or Markeedragon, but i haven't did rares in years so I assume those sites are still up.

I checked those sites and UO Guide and found only one site that had some outdated info, had nothing bout the meatpie.

HoneyRares hasnt really been updated since 2006 and the wiki link she has on the main page dont seem to work...at least not for me

I remember reading something a a couple weeks ago, about a problem with the server up spawns not working right?

Was this fixed?


I don't do rares.

but where should i put all that loot i steal from other players all my houses are filled to the brim i really dont need more stuff.

The list found here (scroll down to the fourth post for stealables and down to the last post for daily semi-rares) seems to be pretty accurate.

Doesn't list any of the semi-rares that no longer spawn but the ones I can remember are 3-piece lockpicks (both directions), bone containers, buckets, and bushels (do some shards spawn these still?).

oki got the bushel and stuff but you remember where the picks and bone containers came from?

The bone containers, I believe, spawned in the Brit graveyard (not sure about other graveyards) and I'm not positive on the lockpicks, but I believe they spawned in various barrels/crates like the other smith or tinker spawning semi-rares.

Lockpicks as well as the three arrow shafts and square tinker kits come from containers in tinker shops. They DO still spawn, but the tinker shop containers tend to fill up with unstealable keyrings. And since you can't steal them, the containers never reset. That's why they are usually said to not spawn any more.

I've managed to get both the arrow shafts and toolkits without too much of a problem but I've not seen the lockpicks spawn on Pacific in years.
