Daemon Bone Armor - Can someone confirm it is spawning?

I have been killing efreets in Felucca and Meer Mages in Ilsh but have had no luck with drops after killing a ton.

Well it did a few weeks ago. Got three pieces from maybe 200 efreets. There's a good spawn of them north of the gargoyle city in Ilsh.

Should note, for collectors' purposes, there are two "versions" (at least) of the Daemon Bone Armor, pre-AOS, and post-AOS. The pre-AOS have self repair 1 and different resistances, and of course, can't be obtained from spawn.

Also there is the white daemon bone that has the label underneath!

Don't think it was ever a efreet drop though.

Isn't that done with bleach or whatever that item is that can return an item to it's typical color?

White Daemon Bone armor came from Meer Eternals for a short period of time. When the armor was added to Meer Mages there was a bug that produced the white (default hue) version which displays the tag underneath.

Self Repair 1 is prepatch Daemon Bone created with AoS from the armor that was available before then.

Normal Daemon Bone armor that spawns now/after AoS is slightly varied in the resists that spawns per piece (never over a specific total but spread out weirdly on different pieces).

Now... last night/today I've been hunting efreets/meer mages quite a bit and have yet to see a piece of the armor drop which is why I made the post.

So I guess the best way to ask would be, since the last publish has anyone had a piece drop for them? I am going to go back to the grind tomorrow in hopes of getting a piece as I am trying to complete several suits for a vendor house uniform.

I just mentioned the self repair difference because I tried to finish my suit post AOS, only needed the helm, and then I was like crap, haha but if youre going for vendor unis then np

Teh hit the nail on the head. Both ages of armor can be bleeched. The uber rare armor had only few weeks spawn time. And the helm has always been on a rarer spawns rate for both ages. It has been a long time that I've gotten any armor. And that goes for farming few 100 outside Ilsh goyl gates.

Just wanted to say after killing a ton of efreets I gt a daemon bone chest drop so it does spawn properly but it is very rare (which is good).

I have old set from 2000 or so and it has no self repair at all on it??

Or did i miss read your post on pre AOS red deamon bone?

All the older armor has self repair and a set resist spread. The newer armor has no self repair and randomized resist.

I don't think your set is pre-AoS. I am almost positive all pre-AoS daemon bone armor has self repair 1.

You used to be able to get it from farming phoenix's in fire dungeon.

That was a myth and it wasn't daemon bone in the myth it was phoenix armor.
