Curse says it lowers somoene's "maximum resistances" to 60. Corpse Skin reduces certain resistances by 15 points and raises others by ten. I am curious as to how these effects interact.
Does curse, essentially, reset the value of their resistances to 60, but the extra 10 points are "still there", just not being applied, or does it actually debuff them normally but just for whatever amount is needed to make their resistances 60 or less.
That is, to say, if someone has 70% fire resistance normally, and I apply curse to make it 60%, if I then cast corpse skin on them will their fire resistance become 60-15=45%, OR will it become 70-15=55%?
Another wa of puttin it might be: assuming I am dealing only poison or fire damage, will I gain any benefit to damage for casting curse as well as Corpse Skin, or would I get the same damage effect by casting corpse skin alone?
A related question, though not especially important: if someone is cursed, can corpse skin raise their physical or cold resistance above 60? Logic suggests no, but its always good to make certain.
