Cu Sidhe vs Fire Rabbit

Has anyone else had the Cu sidhe refuse to attack a Fire rabbit? If so, what's up with that?

Your animals won't follow your commands to kill da wabbit.

You have to tell your pets to guard you then get the bunny to attack you.
