Eyes of Sosaria

Last Eve, Oct. 1st, under the cover of darkness, the Crimson Pirates, led by Cap'n Blackfoot, decided once again to sail his Orc pirate ship, the "Crimson Seahag", along with the fleets sister ship, across the Sosarian Highseas, marauding and looking for booty and raising chaos and destruction on any vessel that they could lay cannon fire on. After drinking their fill of stolen ale and having their fill of food and wenches, the two ships set sail from their hidden port, the "Crimson Cove" and set their sights on refilling their empty kegs of ale.
As they cut through the choppy waters of the Sosarian sea, they came across unsuspecting ships and attacked them without any remorse. They killed the crews, scuttled their ships and helped themselves to the fine booty of kegged ale that was on board.
As the dawn light approached, the Crimson Pirates headed back to Crimson Cove. As they sailed into the morning light, they came across a small fishing vessel. A classic ship class one shipmate yelled. Ah!. It was a brave soul that dared to be fishing in the south seas, knowing that renegade pirates could appear at anytime over the horizon.
As the two Crimson Ships approached the fishing vessel, they fired warning shots across the fishermans bow and yelled "prepare to heave-to and be boarded". The fishing vessel was anchored and the fisherman seemed to ignor the warning shots. As the two Crimson pirate ships came along each side of the fishing vessel, the fisherman, named "Barnum" snubbed at the pirates and went on fishing. As his arrogance got the best of him, the Crimson sister ship opened fire on the fishing vessel, dealing it a serious blow. The fisherman "Barnum" tried to put up a fight, but was no match for the crews of the Crimson Pirates. After dealing the final fatal blow to the fishing vessel and scuttling it, the pirates boarded the fishing ship and checked the hold for booty. All that was found was Barracuda, some other large fish, serpent scales, and a few bits of this and that.
Dishearted by their find of just fish on the last ship of the night, the Crimson Pirates once again set sail for their home port, "Crimson Cove". Once in the safety of their port, the crew went back to their hardy drinking, fine wenches, and tasty food, as the cap'n's of each ship made plans for another future sneak attack on any ships that dare set sail on the highseas.
My sources inform me that the Crimson Pirates were laying low due to the increased hunt for them by the Royal Navy and a few pirate renegades that think they have the rights to the Sosarian Seas. Word also has it that the Royal Government has put up "Wanted Posters" for the Crimson Pirates, Dead or Alive. It also states that a $ million dollar bounty$ will be paid on the delivery of any body of any Crimson Pirates. I can see now why the Crimson Pirates sneak under the cover of darkness and use their hit & run tactics such as they are notorious for.
Seems the Crimson Pirates haven't lost their lust for adventure and are committed to continue to raise chaos across Sosaria waters.
Stay tooned to this coverage as I try and uncover more of what is happening in the world of Pirating.
