crimson cincture not working

Ok so i saved all my gp for ever and a day and borrowed some i finally got the 20 million up and went to luna and bought a crimson cincture apron i put it on and got the +5dex but i did not get the +10 hp anyone no why.my character has a stat. cap of 250 and i am maxed but wouldn't the apron still give me the +10 hp?my stats are139 str 16 dex 122 int and with all my mods from other items i am 144hp 16dex 190mana.any help would be appreciated

There's your answer right there - the most HP you can get from items is +25.

Intriguing. I knew you could not get more than +25 on the core stats - Str, Dex, Int - but was not aware of a cap on the 'derived' stats of HP, Stamina and Mana, since I have mages with way past 150 mana....

HP's don't work like intel-mana. At 150 str you get 125 HP. Then you get your HP increase items to get you to 150, which is max. I have seen some crazy screenshots on the boards from a certain pvp group that has 149 HP and 160+ mana. It seems impossible to me, but I remain open-minded about it.

ok you say max hp is150max then why am i only at 144 is it because max hp additions cap out at +25 so my suit all 5 pieces being +5 hp each=25 means the crimson is now negated as far as the +10 hp is concerned?cause i feel pretty ridiculous for spending 20 mil gp for +5dex ans a hp regen of 2 and now that my base skills are almost maxxed i now can make a rink and bracelet to gimme that for a whole lot less than 20 million

EA capped the HPI additions at +25, when they didn't do the same for Stamina or Mana.

Which is kinda silly because they introduced a +30 HPI replica (Orc Chieftain helm - comes in both 30 HPI or 30 HCI flavors) about the same time as the change.

Think about it.. +30HPI orc chieftain helm, glad's collar (+10hp), crimmy (+10hp). Fey Leggings (+6HPI), gloves, sleeves and a tunic with +5HPI. That's 71HPI. With 150STR you'd be at 196HP. Would be a lil' OP.
