Creating a character with same name as another on same account

I decided to move transcription off of my main char onto another character to make room for a new template I am trying. My main character has been a scribe since early 1998. So it's kind of near and dear to my heart that all my spell and runebooks have Rhiannon's name on them.

I had a spare character slot so I thought I might just create a new character with the same name as the main one, soulstone inscription to her and RP that it's a twin with the same name. So that's what I did.

One VERY strange thing that happened is that when I log into the 2nd Rhiannon, all the hotbar icons are identical to the main Rhiannon. I didn't do that manually.

So not I'm kinda freaked that there might be other "issues" with having two chars with the same name on the same account.

Does anyone know of problems I could be causing myself?

The Macro/desktop settings are saved by character name so if you want two different setups - it will be a problem. As long as you can create a macro/desktop structure that works for both characters - you won't have any other problems.

*shew* Thanks for that info. I was beginning to panic. Of course, I just realized that Rhiannon 1.1 doesn't have enough magery to create good spellbooks so I guess my next task is getting her up to speed on magery. Next problem is finding a good "safe" place for her to kill things without getting killed. I was thinking of Moonglow as that's where Rhiannon 1.0 did it. Plus I could use the leather for Rose the tailor.
