Crahes after Splash Screen

Okay it loads patches then stays Loading Ultima Online.

The AoS splash screen comes up. The Crash. Get the windows error support tool.


I'm able to get the enhanced client to work. I hate it!!!!!


The 2d just crashes any thoughts before for I go play something else?

Are you on a Vista PC?

If so, try right clicking and selecting "run as administrator" on UOA. Also, log into 3D, move your character to another place, and then try logging in to 2D. I got blackholed this morning, had to do the same thing.

this is exactly what im getting, except ive just finished downloading the enhanced client to try that and it does exactly the same thing. not been able to play on my home computer since the publish, and if i cant play no more i may aswell cancel my subscription.

Well I spent several mins on the phone with EA. They say registry problem. Sent me the info to do a manual uninstall and clear the registery with the exception of the last part. as the code is different than the client code they give you.

So I grabbed a registry cleaner. Lots of stuff there uo related fixed.

I copied the files with the exception of the dlls and the exe files as I'm on dial up and the patches take days.

Re installed the 2d moved all the files I saved and it now goes past what it did.

Just can't verfy my acct lol after log in . So I guess you can't just copy the files.
