I know that if you attemp to make a big sprinkler and fail that it will cost 4k, but how much would it cost if you are successful?

You don't get charged if you fail like before Ea Land opened, only if you make it successfully. You don't lose your parts either. I don't know if it has changed but when I crafted at the beginning of Ea Land, it didn't ever take the parts.

According to the Crafting guide on www.ealandmania.net the completed cost is $4k for the large sprinkler. Although I'm not 100% sure if this guide is still correct.

As per the above post - I'm sure that failures dont cost anything any more.

it is corrected, the pre-price dropdown would be 40k, all of the prices in crafting dropped to 10 times less.

Opps, i'm sorry. I read the post wrong. Yes it is $4000 and yes to 10% of what it use to be in productive cities. But the rest of my post was accurate unless it has changed since the last time I crafted anything. Maybe someone has crafted recently and can either comfirm or correct me.

Unfortunately yes. I stated in another thread that I still have many crafts that are just not selling and I have them priced way under the cost to make them.

I think a lot of people used some of their "old money" before the merge on making crafts which created a glut of them.

I agree, and alot of us who had stores with crafts we're merged to Ea Land with the house's inventory. That was my husband and my sim careers in BF.

The lowest I've so far seen people selling crafted beds for is 200.
It's a shame really.

No, it used to cost 40k in the old cities, before the merge to EA-Land. Now it costs 4k to craft the most expensive items. Prices range from 4 - 1k.
