I've got some shadow iron granite, and when I craft a rough block it doesn't keep it's color. It comes out the regular default stone color, but I want it the color to be shadow iron. Am I doing something wrong?

Make sure the option to "Color" isn't set to "Do not Color". This will make anything you craft the normal stone color instead of whatever color stone you're using.
