[Tinkering] Crafting the other type of tinker tools

I haven't done Heartwood crafting quests i a while so I was in there and realized I couldn't figure out how to craft the other variety of tinkers tools that they want for the quest. Seems to me there was a way to do that before but can't figure it out now. Is that just the way it is or am I missing something?

you can craft the tinker tools & turn it with deco tool (to get the flattened tinker tool look)

That quest does not need the 'other kind' of tools. I did that quest. All you have to do is make the 'newer blockier' kind of tools that you can make. You cannot make the 'wide looking' set that is buyable at an npc vendor. Do not worry about this. Just create the right number of tools (or buy them, it doesnt matter despite the image difference - the game does not care since it has the same name. Just make sure like any quest to designate them as quest items and they will work just the same as long as you have the required number of them. Anyway its an overstated issue that ultimately does not matter.
