If I have 100% chance to make something exceptional, wearing a talisman will not give me better items when using a runic hammer.

There's a debate in my circle. Does it matter after you hit 100% chance to make exceptional whether or not you wear a talisman.
IE: "Wearing a talisman while using a val hammer will give you better mods on your items."
I'm saying it isn't true. Once you have 100% chance to make something exceptional anything you do after that wont change the roll for properties... right?

Sounds right to me, seems a silly thought really especially because i was under the impression all exceptional gave you was DI.

(i have made many non-eq scimmys with better mods than eq scimmys, just without DI)

On another not iv been wondering, Does it have a difference when handing bods in to be at just 120 or hold a +60 hammer so your at 180 (higher skill = better chance at top bods)?? Like ya have more chance at the top bods if your 120 not just 100?

IT shouldn't - it's been long a part of the game that ASH don't affect BOds, but who knows if that's still true after the changes last february.

nah it dont matter. A few weks back i tryed it, I turned in 200 bods with one in my hand then 200 without, at Luna.

I then did the same again this time in fell to see if being in fell gave anysort of bonus... 200 with a +60 hammer and 200 without.

Average was about the same 4 good keepers per 200 bods

You are correct.

The Talismen only affect success chance (at normal or exceptional), they do not affect mods via runics.

I just tested it, and holding an ASH makes no difference for a Legendary Smith.
