Mason Caine Welcomes all those who have traveled to hear Coves call.
"The town of Cove has recently been attacked by Orcs, and is currently in dire straits. Cove is in need of both aide and supplies. The orc threat is real, and if Cove shall fall, the orcs will be free to attack other cities."
Thea Caine, second in command of the Covian Guard reviews the tactical reports;
"The orcs have begun rallying under one banner, their masses continue to grow daily as the threat becomes more real each day. Though their current number is uncertain the orcish hordes have begun sending large waves of scouts and grunts to test the Covian defenses. Scouts report that a young orc has risen quickly in rank and is claiming the title of chieftain. It is under this young orc's leadership that the horde has been able to take claim to one of the outer outposts of Cove. It is essential we take back this outpost as it holds tactical value in the coming war. The outpost is a barrier between the southern orc fort and the city of Cove."
Baron Arkon makes suggestions of massing a fleet to protect the Covian harbor from possible naval attacks.
Mason and Thea Caine explain;
"We have thought of this, sadly our naval capabilities are slim to none. We currently have one war ship positioned in Cove proper. Scouts report no naval activity from the orcs, but we should never leave anything to chance. Our priority currently is the reclaiming of the outer outpost in attempts to create a blockade of the goat path leading to the southern orc fort."
Mason Caine Introduces Melody Caine, Emissary of Cove;
"The people of Cove are holding strong, but without assistance it is only a matter of time before the people are forced to flee. Melody Caine has been made Emissary of Cove in an attempt to make stronger relations between the great cities."
Melody Caine, Emissary of Cove reviews the Covian supply logs;
"Supplies in Cove are beginning to run dry. Due to the unpredictable and continues attacks from the orcs, necessities such as medical supplies, food and water are at an all time low. We the Covian people are in hopes that the more fortunate cities would be able to assist Cove in their time of need. It is my desire that we will be able to open up Caravan routes between those cities capable and Cove. It is pertinent these supplies reach Cove with haste."
Those in attendance began shouting, one by one volunteering what aid they could supply Cove with.
"I will take note and send word immediately in order to gather what supplies each of you have to offer. On behalf of the Covian people, thank you."
Mason Caine concludes the meeting;
"The Covian people's will is strong and will remain so. We are grateful to all that have made their appearance today answering Coves call. We will not forget the kindness that has been displayed here and hope one day we will be able to return such generosities."
