2000hrs by the Eastern sky;
Thea Caine second in command of the Covian Guard welcomes all those who made the journey to defend Cove and march against the rising orc hordes.
"The Southern Outpost has been lost, but tonight we will reclaim our land. Scouts have reported that these particular orc are being lead by an orc shaman by the name of Zar-who the f*ck cares! He will soon be face down in the dirt along with the rest of his kind, WE MARCH!"
Thea Caine, leads the assembled company toward the overrun Southern Outpost. They tactically insert themselves into the orcish camp and quickly catch the orc by surprise.
Mason Caine, elected Mayor of Cove shouts out the Covian Guard Mantra initiating the attack.
"Discipline, Strength and Courage!"
The Company defending Cove hold strong and begin to push back the horde. Together they do exactly what Thea had said, they begin putting the orcs faces down into the dirt slaying them one by one.
The company spots Zarfu the Shaman and his two dire wolves. They quickly reset and reassemble formation to launch a swift blow to the orcish champion. Hordes of orcish reinforcement appears but they are no match for the assembled company who quickly dispatch their own counter attack thwarting the orcish reinforcement.
Zarfu falls to the ground, the day is won and the blood of the enemy has been spilled.
Some shout,
"We did it, Zarfu is Dead!"
Yet some are skeptical that Zarfu could still be alive.
Thea Caine reminds all in attendance.
"This will not be the last time the orcs will come for us, with this victory they WILL come again."
Melody Caine, Emissary of Cove announces the Guards next step.
"Supplies in Cove begin to run dry. Necessities such as medical supplies, food and water are at an all time low. The Covian people have put their trust in both Governors Aedon Durreah and Jaden Rain to assist Cove in their time of need. It is my hopes that with this victory we will be able to open up Caravan routes between Yew, Skara Brae and Cove. It is pertinent these supplies reach Cove with speed."
Mason Caine concludes the gathering;
"We are grateful to all that have answered Coves call and put their own lives at risk. We will never forget the bravery that has been displayed here today. The people of Cove thank each of you and will not forget the blood that you each sacrificed to make today a victories one."
