can anyone please clue me in on whats going on in cove?

right now, cove is the first city to have spawn from the new event appear. there are assorted reds that will spawn (brigands, dark wisps, wolves, etc.) in addition to the vanguard controller. the vanguard controllers are the commanders of the invading forces and also drop unique loot (obsidian blades and chaos shields). in addition to their loot, they ride a new tameable pet, the dread warhorse

i went to one of the spawn locations last night in fel on on my stealth archer and looked all around to kind of check it out but i saw no warhorse i saw the commander but they were on no horse! do they sapwn occasionally or after u kill sum of the spawn or what?


Also what lead up to this happening .... kno yall probally tired of all my ?s but ive been gone two yrs and im really trying to catch up on in game stuff...
