Couple Questions...

Hi SP... been awhile since ive been able to participate with you all...probably about three years now...but anyway just making this thread to axe a couple a questions about whats might have changed....

First off I see alot of items that are marked with "Faction Rank" tagged to them... then are followed by an "Owner"... Im guessing that the faction rank must be something new added into the faction system? .... and I assume that the "Owner" means it can only be worn by that specific person?

Second off how is the playerbase doing these days? Alot of same people playing?....People actually playing vs just participating in posting? Many new faces? What guilds are still active?

There is alot of stuff I dont know about or where it comes from but I assume most of it is from the SA expansion...so I am just going to start with what interest me then move my way on.... If I come up with anymore questions ill be sure to post them here in hopes of a response...but anyhow hope to see you all in game...

Faction tagged with owner - yes they are only usable by the owner. Rank means you have to be a certain rank before you can use them. You attain rank by getting kill points by killing other faction members or stealing sigils.

Playerbase is ok. A lot of the same people, but fewer than before. Some new faces as well. People are playing and posting =)

Guilds that are active, trying to think of who was around then but - CWS, GIL, TnT, I'd say SP! has taken over as the old KOC/VMP/OTF, whatever their name was back then.

These forums are usually the best for questions, but that in-game chat is also helpful when it's not full of spam.

That clears up my questions about factions...I figure ill see how the playerbase/players who are still active are as the days go on and I actually start getting around again...

Next question I have is what is the deal with Imbuing?

Yes, in game chat. Click the chat item on the toolbar, and you can pick from some in-game chat channels. Most often used is general. use the comma key to talk in in game chat.

Imbuing allows you to take an item, and add whatever property(s) you want to the item. So you could take a blank 1/3 ring and add 15 DCI, 20 EP, etc. You of course need certain resources to do this, which can get pretty expensive. There is a limit to how many properties (5) and how much total item intensity an item can be imbued to.
