Now I am a simple man, certainly in deed, some would say in thought as well. No bother, I am who I am, and have lived my years as best as I could. I don't tend to get involved in the problems of others but with recent events I felt I should lend a hand, and stand up to be counted on the side of RIGHT.
I have hunted and worked the lands over the years, and thought I had seen all the sights there were to see, but little did I know how wrong I was.
I traveled to YEW Abbey on the advice of some friends. There a small group of us met a stranger. From there we traveled to Dawn's house only to find it in flames from a recent attack.
There was some discussions which frankly I did not fully understand. Reference to past events and battles that were only rumor and legend to my mind. I quickly realized I was caught up with some very important people and these people planned to put a stop to the recent evil that has invaded Luna.
But now the strangest thing happened, one minute Dawn was talking to a flesh and blood person, the next moment the person was gone and a Dragon appeared.
Now I have seen a lot of Dragons in my day, and slew more than my fair share. But I have never in my life seen a creature like this. Her scales shimmered and glistened in the afternoon light. Such a beautiful creature my eyes will never see again I am sure. Both beautiful and terrifying I was lost in awe at such a sight. My mind wanted to flee, but my legs would not carry me away. Eventually creature seemed to sense my discomfort and she turned and looked at me briefly, one glance from her massive eye and my fears dissolved and I felt courage and resolve fill my heart!
I followed the group as we made our way to Luna, There, the heart of an invading army of evil had captured the streets of Luna, and we were going with the beautiful creature to banish them once and for all.
Now since Casca's open betrayal, I had assisted the Paladins in running off the small invasions that seemed to pop up daily. Little did Ie know that those were just scouting parties hoping to test our defenses.
The Army that we now found entrenched in the streets of Luna was truly terrifying to behold. Without The Dragon and Dawn fighting at her side I am not sure we could have turned the day.
Many great citizens were lost yesterday, many more were snatched back from the brink of death by the cities healers.
In the end we were victorious and Dawn traveled amongst us and rewarded us with hugs, soft words of support and a gift of appreciation from the Platinum Dragon.
Promises were made by all to return when the need was great.....I know if there is life left in my bones, when that call goes out, I will be there!
