Costumes... WONDERFUL... but why cant they fool monsters?

This year, seeing I've been half-playing the last few, I was shocked at all the new and wonderful costumes we have now a days. Seeing they transform us to monsters... its not like putting on WINGS (bird/pixie/bat) that would be real costumes. An overall transformation that makes us transform size along with appearance?

Logic says this should have some kind of positive effect on those too stupid to see past a flawless disguise.

After all, for many-many years... we've had orc masks... that are only good for covering one's face... and they keep orcs from attacking you. Why wouldnt a full body transformation? Logic.

Just saying!

By logic then you should be able to be attacked by anyone anywhere in game when wearing one. If they can't tell then we can't tell.
