it looks like a little blue/purple version of the crystal portal. i wish they were the same size/graphic but they're not. but they work the same.
ps - you can login to test and run 10 steps to the new haven docks and click on the medusa statues and get samples of all the new vet rewards including the crystal portal. that way you can see it and play with it before selecting it on a production shard, if you wish.
