Converting a FULL Classic Castle to A Modern Castle What Happens To Items

Can I just convert my old castle to a modern one that’s completely full ?
I removed all deeds and stone items should I empty the castle completely?

From what I have heard you should remove everything from the frist floor as well

I think you should remove any granite add-ons no matter on which floor you have them.

This is what keeps stopping me from converting mine. It would take so long to remove all the granite I've got.

Also snow and grass tiles.. Took me forever to take all mine off to convert my keep... Just be careful with Davies locker in deed form I lost mine in my bettles pack somehow full of deeded map's
