No, there is no quest.

It was stated that Gargoyles can only be made as new characters, not by conversion from old ones.

The exception being that those who buy SA in the first week or whatever it is gets a few special tokens that allows them to swap current characters into Gargoyles.

As i know there wll be no way to convert caharacter to gargoyle.
Except "consumers who purchase Ultima Online: Stygian Abyss from September 8th – 29th will receive multiple Alteration Tokens to transform current characters into Gargoyles"

Question, what if the current characters are already scrolled up ?

In the conversion will they retain their higher skill CAPs ?

well, I will buy the key as soon as possible, I will never start again to buy sops for my worker... Gargoyle with the enhance bonus looks perfect for workers :O

Why wouldn't they? If they weren't, what would be the purpose of using the token on them than making a new one for free...
