Backpack art contest are fun. Of course it would need a theme. I won one of these backpack art contests on Siege once. It was winter orientated.
For us here for spring, one can run a backpack art contest that involves spring things in backpack art or shammrocks etc. I mean I can see it a backpack art shammrock made of glistening green nox crystals etc. or nightshade and pearl.

Another spring idea although contests could be worked INTO such an event, we did it over there 2x stpatty spring celtic festivals, ie drinkin
and a huge scavenger hunt. The one was spring orientated and the other was a scavenger hunt fetchin *GREEN THINGS* !
Contests could be worked into a spring scavenger hunt making it even a week long series of events or contests !

I Won a book writing contest here...about a poor woman whom mourned by Blackthorns grave and her tears made...shammrocks and spring flowers appear via some magical green elves. Someone else wrote a book too, called GOLD over the Rainbow or something...think his name was Winfield.
THINK SPRING thing festivals celtic or st. patty or just spring greenery, think leprecuns and bunnies and scavenger hunts and bring back old stuff that was fun from Moonglow festival...maybe I get to use my chr. MOONGLOWFESTIVAL again to make sashes for everyone FREE EVEN ! lol
