Consolidating houses

So, playing today I've realized that despite the fact that I have three accounts, I am always at my first account house, so I have been pondering.
Why can't I make all my accounts owners of that house instead of having three houses and occupying two plots more that I never visit (literally) and have that add, say, the storage of a 15x15 or 16x16 to my main house.
Of course, there's the whole expired accounts thing. But that could be handled by having the extra storage removed and random items dropped and scattered outside the house until the item count is within the new, lower house limit.

This way I could free up two valuable plots to other players and keep all my accounts consolidated within a single house, which is almost what I do nowadays.

I wonder how my Skara keep and my Luna plot aren't full of dust and spider webs yet. I haven't set foot on them in a long while, and that is unlikely to change soon.

It's easy enough to make additional accounts co-owners. To change the coding for housing would be a major undertaking for our remaining Devs, especially considering that most players would be unlikely to consolidate in the way you've described.

I think the OP was requesting the ability to double or triple the max storage to a single house by tying additional accounts to the ownership. So you could have a castle with max lockdowns of like 15k if it was "owned" by two accounts. The point being that many people have additional houses soley for the ability to store additional items.

It took me multiple reading to get the gist of what was being asked by the OP...
Merus is right .. The OP wanted to know if the DEv would go for uping the lockdowns/storage if he could link all 3 of his accounts.
I do know the players here in stratics have asked over the years to level out the lockdowns to a set amount across the board to the max a castle can go. Even if that hosue isa lowly 7 x 7. Many people are in that boat that 1 house is enough but doe to storage restrictions they have had to keep 2nd and up houses to maintain the storage needed...
It is not a way to 86 2nd and 3rd accounts.. mind you many of us would still keep accounts open as we have multi sets of character templates we use .

Yes, that's exactly what I am wishing for.
Giving up the right to own another plot with a second/third/nth account to increase the max storage of a single house by linking the other accounts to that house.

I can't simply sell those houses either. The Luna plot was a gift from a friend because I go out of my way to help new or returning people at Legends, and he himself got it by doing the same thing years before. That one I can't simply clear and drop. I will need to find a worthy owner to give it to, which I plan to do during the next two months.
The keep I can floor whenever I feel like, but in two or three years I might need the extra storage space and then I could find that there aren't any keep spots free anymore, as unlikely as that can be.

So, it would be nice to have one single house with three times the max storage (or 2.4 times max storage or whatever) by linking all my accounts to it.

ah but the problem is if i have 2 accounts with 2 houses does each get 2x storage just because I have two active acounts OR actually make OWNERS of the house on two accounts?? Either way I see it being abused

Let me try to put it in a way people will have an easier time to understand.
I spend too much time coding stuff for computers that my people skills aren't the best out there.

The idea is:

1 house - 1 account owning it = 100% storage
1 house - 2 accounts owning it = 200% storage (or 180% storage, would be fine too), second account can't place another house
1 house - 3 accounts owning it = 300% storage (or 240% storage, whatever), second and third accounts can't place another house
...
1 house - n accounts owning it = n time 100% storage (or 100% + n times 80% storage, 100% extra storage per account could be a bit too much), 1 account placed the house, then n-1 extra accounts can't place another house because they are also owning the 1st account house.

And if you let some accounts relapse, you'd lose the extra storage to the house, and if it is over the newer, smaller storage limit, random items would be picked and scattered outside your plot until your house was within the newer, smaller storage limit.

I should really drop some points from one of my lesser used skills to put on communicating with people skill.

BeaIank we do read you clear and your people skills are not that bad kiddo...
I do understand the idea and request for them to think it over...
I see also has a bad side you might not have thought about..
There have been times when the EA billing has had some troubles with taking CC's... leading to accounts going off when you least expect it.
While I do understand you would make sure yours is done well, others might not be in that same boat....
If they just upped the storage capasity of all houses to the castle level... you could just do the very same thing your proposing...
