Conjurers Trinket and slayer groups question

Hi,

Wondering about the effect of using a Conjurers Trinket for its HCI when fighting Succubus.

Since the Conjurers Trinket also has the property of the Undead Slayer - and the Succubus is in the Abyss or Demon slayer "group" - can I assume that the Succubus will NOT be hitting me with double damage - since the Abyss group is NOT the opposite of the Undead group?
