I'd like the details on how rune corruption works; %'s of the effects and what-not.

Also, what do i pick first - AI or Rune Corruption. And, do you do better damage with rune corruption or chivalry on a Giant Blue Beetle.

One thing to consider when thinking about putting Chivy on a pet... If you are using it to fight one boss or something great... but otherwise it's going to get torn to shreds after it casts EoO on something and anything else will tear it a new one. I found this very annoying in the sorcerers dungeon.

If you want chivalry use a different pet. Only bugs get RC use it.

Work from the bottom up, AI then RC then magic. I think beetles only get poison as a magic choice.

Does Rune Corruption and my character's Discordance (not on the pet) Stack ??

This is not the same mob. I took a fire beetle and couldn't copy and paste fast enough. But, RC cuts the resists in half. Im sure Discord would reduce it further.

I used my elf archerbard and my tamer.

Navrey was empty so I could test:

Normal:



Rune Corruption only:



Discord only:



Discord and Rune Corruption:



Looks like they stack. Someone else can provide the %s.

So is it possible to make a Beetle with Rune Corruption + Discordance or that wouldn't synergy well?

It says that beetles only get poisoning as a magic ability, besides the masteries. So you can't add Disco to beetles.

But if you're a Disco Tamer, you can fk up your mob's resists with ur beetle. :]
