Coming to Siege

Hello all. I have been playing UO off/on for many years. Now coming over to Siege. How important is to find a guild early on to keep from being slaughtered non-stop? Do most people only venture out in packs looking for guys like me playing solo? My schedule usually has me playing during odd times so it has been difficult for me to find a steady group. TIA

First off, you should look up the NEW2 guild, you can be in it for your first month while getting those defensive maneuvers in place :)

After that, most join some guild according to their playing style, but some do also just run solo.
