I've seen some peeps with a red or even Europa gold swampy. What about those dragon bardings? How are they created (or found?)

eh...ill probably get yelled at by the people expoiting this bug for in game profit...but oh well it happens
the trick to the bug is very simple...just make a dragon barding deed with any metal other than iron and dye the deed as if you would a piece of armor using a tok dye or slime dye
this give the swampy that particular color when so armored...thus allowing you to have a nice look about your ride
however it is prefered to be used as a visual stimulus and not effective in combat...there have been numerous reports that when the deed is dyed in such a way it looses combat effectiveness...in other words no matter the materials use to make the deed after it is dyed it has the same durability as basic iron...so after a day of heavy hunting it will break

Not sure that I'd waste the dye charge on it though... I've already seen a developer "hint" that this will be cleaned up.
I thought they were just using those new slimes to dye the barding deeds. I thought it was a nice little Christmas thing and that it would end when the slimes go away (if they go away).

Draconi has said this is 'not intended'. There won't (I think) be any action taken against the accounts of those who have done it, but the deeds will revert to iron shortly. Those that haven't already broken that is.
And to correct a misconception. The only difference between barding made in iron and barding made in valorite is the colour. Provided the barding is exceptional you will get the same benefit from it.
