Collecting IDOC Player Written Books...

Hey there all, I've long had the idea of setting up an equivalent of the Soulstone graveyard, but for player written books; And I finally got off my tush and am here posting a thread to declare I'll start collecting them! I'm hoping that all of you who IDOC will keep an eye out for people's personal, fictional history in game, and will drop any books you find off at my house behind Empath Abbey, Trammel. Co-ords are 73.12N 45.42W.

They will be displayed on the second floor of the tree house, but if someone has a claim to something I have (You wrote it, or it's part of your guild history etc) I'd be glad to return it... the aim though is simply to share and preserve the personal history behind the game, the shard, and the people!

Good idea actually. I belive i have some player written books.
Some of the books are even coloured, dont know if thats common or not.

Can check when i get back home.

Well, after a little while being distracted by Halloween and fishing and... I've finally got around to tidying up the Library part, and so we're open for donations if anyone would care to make them!

As of now, there's about 50 player written books, most of the NPC ones, and those I could find in the wild so far, a good number of the gargoyle books, some named Valentines, EM Event books... but more to always find, copy or collect so drop off anything unique or full of player memories if you can find it, and please feel free to browse the shelves yourselves!

I have hundreds of player written books and I know of a lot of mine and other people's books which were/have been lost at IDOCs.

This is a great idea.
