[Selling] Collapsed rares museum items.

Hello there came across a rares museum which had collapsed but I don't know too much about some of the items inside.

Here are some photos.

Sandals seem to be reward cloth colour and if you look to the ingots the top stack is the one I found vs the bottom, notice there is a subtly different graphic and colour, both read valorite rather than npc ingot "ingots" which I have put up for sale on another thread.

Some paints and brush... no idea about these as I could find no reference for them... quest item maybe ?

Strangely golden hued robe looks suspiciously like those yellow quest furs but turned into cloth... there was about 800 of this cloth but I missed it.. also not the top right... believe it to be dread spider white.

Speaks for itself... I also have the studded leggings version with same number of charges... value.. I really don't know.

This is some of the more interesting ones... gold mark scroll "A ... of Exceptional quality" items (boxes, crate , armour, clothes apart from hat.) scroll of abraxus, small dragon ship deed, tome of lost knowledge, glacial staff, fruit bowl

There are some more to come but that should give you something to work through first

Sandals look like bod rewards - 5k and under
Nothing looks odd about the robe to me.
Paints and brushes can be stolen from artist npc chests - 50k and under.
gold mark scrolls 25k-50k per scroll
Charged items are worth more as spring cleaning pts. Generally the exception to this are items with invisibility charges, teleport rings and items with max charges (100 ch and 200 ch depending on item)
fruit basket 5k and under
dragon deed I think can still be bought from npc.
glacial staff still spawns 50k
full titled EQ items ("____ of exceptional quality") are valued by item type. I would need a detailed list to give a PC
scroll of abraxus - 10k -25k
Fruit bowl 5k and under

BTW just an update on the info for those ingots... they do not read valorite they read ingots so my suspicion is they may be more NPC ingots...4k is a hefty amount if they are.

Well I checked the hue ID on the ingots... they are read hue ID 0 which is strange because they look different to me.

Also found this paragon gold set of gloves which I thought were interesting... how do you get paragon gold... its not the same as liquid sunshine is it ?

If the items in that picture you have are items that say of exceptional quality with the items name(for example: A Tunic Of Exceptional Quality) then I will give you 800k a piece for the Tunic, arms and gorget. If you think 800k is to low then let me know...I may be willing to pay a little bit more. But I have a lot of these type items and 95% of them I paid less than 1m for and a lot of that group I paid less than 500k for. So let me know what your thinking. And if they are something else entirely like Double Blessed or [exceptional] then the price would be much higher....I look forward to hearing back from you.

So what is the tunic? Items that just say "Of exceptional Quality" with no item name are usually only worth like 100k

"Of Exceptional Quality" have a significantly lower value than full titled "___*insert name here*___ of exceptional quality" - The only exception to their lower value is with items that are made out of cloth that can not be dyed.


If you have full titled EQ, I would be happy to PC them for you if you send/post an itemized list.

OFC outside the exception mentioned above go for 100k or less generally.

The other type of "double exceptional" (sleeves/gorget) is worthless selling wise. It might be worth clean-up pts. You might get 100k for a full matching suit with a cool name, but honestly no one really collects that version.

The wooden box is worth 150-200k and the crate slightly more at around 250-300k.

I have no idea who bought the robin's egg candy, but they come from easter baskets. You can get a basket with 10 charges for 350k or less. I sell robin's egg candy for 25-50k or so on my clearance vendor.

I know these prices aren't what you're interested in hearing and that you may be disappointed. You are more than welcome to attempt to sell them for more, but I feel you may be trying to a long time unless you happen across a buyer who is uneducated of their origins.

It isn't the cloth, ingots etc that gives the value unless it's a rare cloth that can not be replicated with a dye tub. All EQ clothing is dyeable. The price is based on how often that particular type of item is seen, in other words the rarity.

I think the 1m for that shield is a fair price and the axe is valued between 2-3m, the tunic 1-2m


The ruined tapestry is from the halloween 2009. It can be turned with a house deco tool. Value is about 100k http://www.uoguide.com/Ruined_Tapestry

A deco plant is technically a prepatch. However the market for them isn't very strong on the US shards. I'd estimate 10-25k per plant, with rare colors and white/black worth a bit more.

There is only one user that I'm aware of named @slippjeem who does collect them with any sort of dedication.

Freshly picked rose in a tall gift box - 100-150k (the exception to this is a "Mesanna" rose which is worth more.
tram moonstone - 100 to 200k
a big fish (100 stone prepatch without fisher name) - 100k

I have bought 10+ pair of double blessed Sandals for 6m or less...I have around 15 pair maybe more and never paid more than 10m for a pair. There are a ton for sale on Vendor Search for 12-18m and they have been there for a while because they are not worth that much. A pair for 10m reserve didnt event get a bid on them in Brians Auction. If you want to keep them then I wont complain. You are in a area where there are a LOT of experts on these items(I am not one of them) But I do know a little when it comes to these types of items. 25m for those items is soooo far from a fair deal, that I am thinking the only Fair Deal you know about is the Campaign Slogan by President Truman.

To be honest, the sandals are the only double blessed item that doesn't go for a lot. A long time ago when they were made, the sandals were -the- hot thing to bless with clothing bless deeds. That is because you used to be able to not dye sandals and bods weren't introduced yet. There were all sorts of "rare" colors of sandals.... black sandals, bride silver sandals, mage sandals and even a reddish brown that was super hot to trot. As such, sandals are the most common thing to see for sale that are the (blessed) version. I sold a bunch for 3m a few months a go that I bought for 1.5m last year. I saw a few around 5m at the last rares fest. There were some at the rares festival for 20+m, but I never saw any of those actually sell.

In the end, you can ask whatever you'd like for your items and if they are worth 20m to you, that's what you try to sell them for. Please don't take my information as criticism, I'm simply giving the current market from my experience running a shop on Atlantic.

Fun fact is that back in the day... even blessed without durability showing you could still have them "broken". I lost a few black pairs in my youth to forgetting to take those off when a macer was using me as training practice. Those were painfully expensive lessons.

The plants are first generation, the second generation added color and now 3rd generation is color and plant name, If you want to get a lot for them take them to an Asian shard, the Average price I pay for them is 500, unless they are black, white or a quest color, I have paid up to 75k for a black one but I have also gotten a black one for 1k, so it depends on how long people want them taking up space, I don't know anyone else that does a vendor search on every shard for them once a week like I do. The price is determined by how many people want to pay for them and usually I am the only one buying those on the western shards, and I am only buying them to deco my house with just first gen plants when I finish with that I will not buy them anymore either! I see people at IDOC’s leave them there to decay…

Just to add for the fish - if they're less than 25 stones they won't have a Caught by subtitle on them.
Also, a double black blessed pair of saddles went for a heck of a lot less than 20m at Europa Auction earlier... More like 3.5m if I remember rightly.
Older kegs @ 20 stones worth as much as a usual one I'm afraid, got a load around that are just waiting for the pots to be used.
If the robe isn't Europa gold colour, it's worthless, and double excep items like those I only keep if it's someone I know. Tome of Lost Knowledge, Tokuno Artifact, few hundred k at most

I get it if you want to keep the sandals for the price I offered you....to be honest, they are worth more to me than that...thats why I keep most of mine. When I saw some at the rares fest that were actually selling for 10m I dyed a bunch of mine black, since ppl still think that makes them special, and sold like 5-6 pair for the 10m price and have replaced most of them with pairs for less than half that haha. FYI: I bought 3 pairs of double blessed sandals off a vendor today for 3.5m ea and yea, I place all clothes I buy on vendors or mannequins, for free storage and that way people can see then and make an offer on items if I like the offer they get it, if not.....

To add to the (blessed) sandal discussion, the rarer double (blessed) sandals are actually what direction they face when not equipped.

Most people do not realize this, have a look through your (blessed) sandal collections.. I bet you do not have many, if any, that face West/East. Strange Fun Fact for the Day!
