ICY is pleased to announce the opening of Coco's A-Z Rune Library located on the ground floor of Coco's next to Umbra Hub, Siege Perilous. It is open to all players on the shard to use at will.
This library is set up strictly A-Z. Details of current books are listed in the post below.
Putting your cursor over the pouch on each stack will identify the Letter of books contained in that stack.
The books in each stack are made up in a similar fashion: Hunter's Guide for that letter first, then Quest Giver's for that letter then other general books. The main 'fighting' areas ie dungeons, cemeteries, T2a entrances are colored red for easy finding. All Quest Chain books are in the Q stack. Eg: Quest: BMV Ararat, Exploring the Deep.
So for example, in the S stacks the Grey Hunter's Guide will list all mobs that start with the letter 'S' and then the Green Quest Giver books will list all quest NPC's/Invulnerables that start with the letter 'S'. (see sample books below)
Where possible I have marked mobs in areas that can be gated to directly (note: there may be better spawning areas in non gate locations however for the purpose of the hunter's guide I have used the direct mark where possible). As there are a lot of mobs that are unable to be marked due to being in non mark/gate areas the mark will take you to the following places:
You will notice on the code that there are further abbreviations which I have included where possible to enable the reader to navigate a little better. In the S sample above for 'Silk' you will notice on the bottom left when the mark is selected that it says : Silk - I Sp Twisted Weald. So basically it is telling you to find Silk from this gate go to Ilshenar, Spirituality Gate then to the Twisted Weald. Other codes are Nth, Sth, E, W, NW etc where I can give a direction to head.
I am sure over time I will make changes where things prove to be a better system, but for now this is the overall set up.
If you find a mob that is not marked, is blocked regularly and doesn't work or has a better mark feel free to leave a rune in the letterbox with a new mark or a note on a book explaining the problem and I will update as I go.
As soon as I get another set of crystal portals and moonstone they will be added to the library.
Cheers
