Same here on LA. EM also stated that the cloaks would be available again soon. Not sure if that means available on all shards or just LA.

From what I gather it's pretty much the same for all shards (correct me if I'm wrong!):

Invasion starts in Luna, Dawn runs around there, Stuff spawns and you should help kill it.
At the end all go up to the floor with the Ankh (middle of Luna), Dawn says "OMG ur all such heros!!!" and hands out cloaks.

On Catskills, Dawn gated everyone to the trophy room for events then cloaks were given out. Each person got cloak then banned from then house which mean only 1 cloak per account.

I really love how it is handled on Catskills compare to the nightmare story I hear from other shards.

Aye, on Europa people followed Dawn to the Counselors Hall and gated them to the Star Room then closed the gate after a while. Then one by one we were teleported over to a closed area where they gave us the robe and we took a gate out.

Which means people couldn´t get one on one char and then get back there on a second char to get another robe.

It was a pretty nice solution although not the best one as late comers missed being gated in for a robe...

That really sounds like an awesome idea - our whole TS group was a mix of moaning, snorts and laughter when our EM asked us to line up at that luna place...

just to add to your point here, i thought the gate idea was great

if you were with dawn, fighting you knew to follow her

there was a char in the star room asking for gate to be opened again,i am glad she did not after i got the claok i went back there and i saw crafters non armoured "spare" chars all trying, obvious what that was, and i am so pleased it was stopped, even saw some old idoc raider peeps that i have not seen for over a year there, they told me they moved shard, yet they were there, NOT for the fight but for the cloaks


superbly well done, am i am sure there will be other opportunities to EARN the cloaks again

For an event with such a valuble 'reward' i would expect more than 1 days notice. Hopefully we will get another chance to 'earn' one since some of us have a life at the weekend too.

Quite true, too short of a notice......a week would be nice. And yes, alot of us have lives, especially on the summer weekends............what kinda anti social slug sits at a pc on a nice sunny day, anyways?? (unless it's storming)

They will be handed out on Chessy for about 2 weeks according to EM Vladimere. He will be at his house next to the EM Counselor Guild at noon and 9pm to hand out cloaks. You will be banned from the house once you receive one, banning your account for one day. Then you can return the next day for another. Good job on the EM's part. Thank you!

i wonder why some couldn't be given out through the artifact system, you know, for valor. or at least had it keep track of your valor, and at the end, you click something that would award you a cloak if you had the required points. there has to be a better way than the current handouts.

i wonder if there could be a system for support players, where ressing, healing, curing, etc gives points in the battlefield, or if someone you recently healed/ressed earned an artifact, you would get points to your point pool for your own artifact too.

I'd love that, since I tend to spend quite a lot of time looking for wounded/dead people and trying to help (which is so ludicrously out of character for a necro I won't even go there =))

If you did not get a cloak this weekend do not worry, the EM’s will be handing these out during the week also. I know on several shards the EM’s ran out of the cloaks several times and had to be replenished. I hope everyone enjoyed the event, it was great to see so many people. I would like to thank everyone for making it so much fun for the EM’s!​

Keep an eye on the councilors hall or rewards hall on your shard.

Our EMs did a great job of handing them out efficiently, despite the usual hassles and whining

They go to their special house and ban you after, so only one per account is allowed

also be quick back to the start point, as they dont hold the gate open long so peeps cannot relog with other chars to get more cloaks, the EM's are learning
