Cloak of Revival Made from Corrupted Cloak and Threads

A friend has been doing the event non-stop since a few days ago. He has collected hundreds of the shields, dozens of cloaks and everything else. Today he spent time tinkering with the items after I told him about what was discovered with the threads in that Stratics topic about them. Well he has discovered something very interesting.



Using the two known threads, one cloak of corruption and one currently extremely rare type of thread which I didn't see posted about yet (thread of power), a Tailor is able to make a Cloak of Revival. It doesn't look very useful because it also contains the Cursed property. Also it takes damage like armor and Powder of Fortification does not work on it. So three strikes and its out I guess.

Instead of saying April Fools you should be trying to get the Thread of Power. I only know of 3 being found in 4 days. These cloaks are going to be extremely rare. I'll give you a hint, they spawn on something that currently seems to give nothing new.

The only way I would actually believe this is if there was something else in the screen that made it impossible to fake. Since I cannot think of a way to prove this otherwise I will simply consider it an elaborate joke.

Fair fake, but the cloak is elf robe, and you forgot the mouse pointer.

If this was true it would come from fetid essences. But until I see it for myself on whatever shard this is on, I stand by my belief that this is just an April Fools (albeit very late - although the US doesn't follow the before Midday tradition!)


PS everybody else's reasons for it not being real all have answers. When an item is enhanced or used for something else, the item type can be changed as well. The durability, the weight - well; there have been stupid properties added to items before - it all adds to a realism! The cursor isnt any indication either. All in all had it been any other day, id have gone for it. Just that this year there has been an awful lot of April fools around.

I made a wither proof cloak. I'm thinking about selling it to this guild HOT on Atlantic so maybe they can finally have a chance and beating VIP.

I dun have photoshop tho.
Hope my paint creation is gud enuff.
Also my robe looks different cuz I am in KR. I guess KR gives different mods too.
At least mine isn't cursed and doesn't have durability

No love of April Fools day here - it's one thing if it would be the occasional witty joke (emphasis on witty) - but its usually just lame mis-information that only the originator thinks is funny. Or maybe I'm just no fun?

I hate them.

When done correctly an April fools gag is a wonderful thing, I'd never claim to be all that good at it myself, I think you really have to experience a proper one to get the appeal.
The initial bewilderment and confusion that slowly fades into understanding and appreciation.
Many people have only ever experienced the tired "I'm dying IRL" "Not really - lol April fools!" type gag and so don't ever see the beauty of it, instead becoming cyncial to the point of being much less succeptable and open to falling for a good one.

Btw, I don't really hate them - lol april fools!

Plucky, dude, give it a break. Its Aprils Fools Day. Looks like someone got fooled and they didnt like it! Relax dude. In fact why dont you just:

Go look for some more IDOC's, instead of getting mad at JC.

dewd! it was a good one

I got got last night when someone on this board said that double clicking certain IOU cards we all received gave out some good items, halfway through an asian shard, checking my characters, I was like wait a min......2+2=4 and its april fools day.................HMMMMMMMMM
