Clean up Reward Robes

I know we live in a "touchy feely" world, and we seemingly play a care bear leaning game on most occasions. But can we get some smack talking type robes along with the let's all get along stuff?

Examples-

Gargoyle's have funny stinky feet.

Queen Dawn is a pain in the butt.

I wish the Bane had won.

Pirates? Well, blow me down.


Something for those of us who enjoy having a char that acutally went along with the evil temptations of the Bane. Or even for those that enjoy playing the outright evil role in general. You can even make the 10k points instead of 1k as an evil tax, don't matter to me. Just a thought.

Or even the ability to add your own phrase or "insert name or words here" kinda like those Holiday cards?

For example: "I PWN DA KREW"

While you and a few might care to gloss over some "Colorfull" words and make it sorta for GP audiences the 95% of the not so great thinkers out there will not be so kind with their "Words".

Well, ummmm, they did run with the weapon engraving tool. There are lots of questionable, and some possible bannable things out there already due to that. I have learned one thing in my years.... never try to guess what the Devs will do or not do. lol

I like the idea, robes with various slogans and smack talk based only on in game lore. The original suggestions not player tagged clothes with bannable and possibly offensive phrases.

Heh, too bad horses aren't standard anymore, that'd (Ferrari) be a great name for one.

I think one of my chars still rides a horse rest are on blue/orange bugs a charger or on mares/cu sidhes.

I seem to remember someone having a blue bug named something like "A Gucci handbag"

Yeah. You know, the humor is fun, but seriously I'd like to see the game maintain as much medieval flavor as it can. That's why I don't like the whole t-shirt idea here. If players want to put goofy stiff in like this, what can I do? I don't want to tell them how to play. But I just wish the game companies would try a little harder on their end.

I'd rather not take it from you, thanks. It isn't that they are dumb... they are just sometimes misguided. And they sometimes do not look at the whole of the issue, only parts. Again, misguided... not dumb.

As Kylie said before, armor and weapon inscription tools already exist. And you pretty much have carte blanche (that means 'complete freedom of authority', Lady Storm, since I probably have to point that out for you) for what you wish to put on them.

I would have to agree with you here. I have an amost 15 year-old grandson that plays and although I am sure he has heard some of the language before that he might see in the game, there is NO reason to subject him to it further in a game.

I've already had to explain to him that some people think it's fun to torment and harass him in game simply because he is the helpful kind. I do not understand and will never understand why some people have to make complete fools of themselves in game to try and show how much better they are than others.

As for what others have said about weapon engraving (I think that was it) already being able to do that - all I have to say to that is maybe we need to change that too then! I don't have a problem with sayings that are fun. But as you pointed out there's that 5% of the population that would take this to the extreme simply because they can. Whether anyone likes it or not, there are "young adults" who play.

Nothing personal against you nor your grandson at all here. But, the majority of 15 year olds out there are not only subjected to the words in life, but are also using them any chance they get when away from family. Just sayin'
