Classic client - close for no reason

Just wonder i ll get some tips how to prevent this. Running win7. Classic client can close without any reason. Often happens in yew gate around lots of houses. I hope somebody get this problem as well.
Swear to god, i won't play ench client.

if you mean felucca yew gate, there is an illegal program some pvpers use to send a ton of data to your computer at the same time, causing lag, and sometimes causing you to crash, so they can get an easy kill. no idea what wold cause it in other areas though.

Try updating your sound card driver. That is one of the common reasons for client crashes.

Because the client itself will try and play a wav music file and if you driver has a 'hiccup' it will crash. Imagine trying to play a CD in an 8-track player.

Your system is smarter then EA and thats sad.

It's been an issue for years. Nigh on a decade I believe, or maybe it just feels that way.

It doesn't help you but I had the issue much less with the enhanced client.
