Clasic shard and CC users

So how many CC users out there would want to play on a classic shard and leave their current shard and all the post publish 16 goodies you use now?

I doubt it would be just CC users. If EA brought back an AoS-free UO I suspect many would give up the menu bars and shoddy graphics and jump ship back to the CC to play an AoS-free UO in a heartbeat, AoS has likely been the most hated change to this game ever, even over the creation of Trammel.

The game was pointless before aos, para explode fs dead, there weren't even any items to get, no insurance, pointless objectiveless pvp.

I definitely would not create a char on a classic shard.

Lol i doubt any EC user would go back....especially since pinco's ui work.

And the shoddy graphics are 2d graphics rescaled trying to appease CC users to use it. The menu/macro system is more powerfull than most realize.

If most CC users would play on a classic shard, then they could make a shard for cc only and remake a new client for fix the EC one so it doesn,t have to be backwards compatible with cc graphics the way KR was supposed to be with SA being KR only. Or stop trying to make cc users use ec, because they wont, and make the ec more enhanced.

Agree. Many would jump right in a classic shard.

Trammel was a drop in the ocean compared to the reaction AoS got when it arrived. On europe server i estimate at least 80-90% of the felucca subscribers left. The numerous of PvP oriented guilds that left the game to never return was almost uncountable.

This happened after trammel too but wasnt even closely as apparent. Many PvP oriented guilds continued to have fun in felucca after trammel cause the ruleset of felucca wasnt changed.

The ruleset after AoS completely changed UO into a different game and that's why AoS was a way more destructive change then trammel was to felucca.

Pretty much this.

If I wanted to start over on a new shard, it would be on one that FIXED the issues with the game, tested out new theories that would work better with a fresh start, and actually ENHANCED the new client instead of compromising it... not one that simply "turns back the clock".
