So I got to wondering how it would work. Answer, very nicely.
The main problem with Gozas is seeing the edge to chop because they don't show when using object handles. Stone tiles do. You can raise, lower, lock down, release and remove them much easier than targeting gozas you can't see.
Here's a couple of examples in an experimental tower I placed on Test center. A shortened large forge and a very long couch.
