"how effective will divine fury for the purpose of renewing stam & remove curse actually be with very very low/bad karma, and, how much chiv will be needed at that point"

karma doesnt affect the successchance of casting, that one is purely skill based. karma only affects the effectivity of the spells. so for spells like divine fury and concentrate weapon, karma affects how long it will last. remove curse is a bit different. remove curse has two checks, first comes the skillcheck, if you fail, you fizzle, if you succeed it does the karma check. if you succeed karmacheck, curses will be removed, if you fail however, it will still cast the spell and take away the mana, but wont remove any curses.

so while divine fury wont be a problem at all, even at the lowest possible karma, you want to be positive karma for remove cursing. this can easily be done on reds, even on necros if wanted by farming some mage lords every now and then.

about how much skill is needed, 30-40 is enough for remove curse, for divine fury you will want around 50-60. 40 is doable too if you dont mind failing 1-3 times before getting it off.

failing 1-3 times is better than waiting for the apple timer.
