1. Buy/Sell Sticky

Do you guys want a Commerce Buy, Sell & Trade sticky?

Just make posts on the main board?

2. Event Sticky

Do you guys like the idea of having events stuck up at the top a few days before it is set to run? Yes or No works but, I would like a little feedback on it no matter the answer. If you have any ideas on improvement then please let me know. I am trying to get those that do post them to put [Event] in the title.

I don't like making these decisions without getting everyones feedback. I want you to feel just as much in charge of these forums as I am. With that said I am always open for your suggestions. I do this job to promote the entire community and give you all useful tools. So if you think we are missing anything that you feel would help us achieve this then let me know.

Let me say I think you do a fine job on this board. You let the mouths run and the flames burn high on the pvp boards. You do a nice job on the events and give strong support to the RP community.

For commerce, personally I would like to see a sticky. One of the things that sold me on x-sharding to Chessy from Sonoma was the robust commercial trade that is made up on Chessy. I feel the East Coast thread doesn't do us justice.


I'm fine with the event sticky as well, at least for the duration of the event.

For commerce, either way is fine with me... I don't do much commerce, I'm poor.

For Events, a sticky is nice.

.... Better yet maybe or in addition, is using the Chesapeake events Calendar. it's a sticky already above the forum. Why don't we use that more as a GREAT place to show what events are coming up, in the past, even news recorded about that event? Just wondering. (I'm negligent too, I don't post on the Stratics chessy event calendar, but will if people go there). Can we get RSS News Feeds from that calendar? Hmm.

Thanks everyone for your kind words.

I will look into the RSS feed Winfield. I am not sure about the Calendar section. I hardly see anyone go to it. It is hard enough to just get people to read one forum.

I also agree that Gareth does an amazing job on this forum! We may have heated discussions and the like but I have to say I respect Gareths word and judgement.
